Roof Cleaning Treatment in Beavercreek, OH
Greg is a recurring customer for us, and noticed his roof was starting to get black streaking appearing on the front of his roof-very visible as you pull in the driveway. He also noticed patches of moss starting to grow under some specifically shaded areas.
With just over 4000sqft of house space under the shingles, it’s quite a large roof. He called us in a week ago to use our soft washing method to treat his whole roof to eliminate any black streaking, algae, and moss growing on and under his shingles. Existing moss was killed and turned white and black streaking was eliminated, leaving his roof looking like new again.
Roof Soft Washing treatments are a completely safe way to clean organic matter that is growing from shingles, and is often recommended by the manufacturers as the cleaning method of choice for asphalt shingle roofs such as this one. Low pressure rinsing is only used in the event of very heavy debris, and even then is still safe to use on shingles.
Based on the condition of his roof we expect to see another 5-10+ years out of these shingles.
